Many of you, My children, are projecting out and trying to imagine what will happen in the days ahead. This is a waste of time and presumption, for you never know what tomorrow will bring or how things will play out. You know in part and prophesy in part. You cannot experience or live in the future, and the impatience that comes as a result will take you out of the spiritual flow. You must stay present with Me, says the Lord. A good woman is proud. She respects herself and others. She is aware of who she is. She neither seeks definition from her man, nor does she expect him to read her mind. She is quite capable of articulating her needs.

A good woman is a strong woman. She recognizes that her strength is weakened by attitudes that suggest that she doesn’t need a man. We all know that is not true. We do need lots of loving.

A good woman is hopeful. She is strong enough to make all her dreams come true. She knows love, therefore she gives love. She recognizes that her love has great value and must be reciprocated. If her love is taken for granted, it soon disappears.

A good woman has a dash of inspiration and a dabble of endurance. She knows that she will at times have to inspire others to reach their potential.

A good woman knows her past, understands her present, and forces toward the future.

A good woman knows God. She knows that with Him the world is her playground, but without Him she will just be played with.

A good woman does not live in fear of the future because of her past. Instead, she understands that her life experiences are merely lessons meant to bring her closer to self-knowledge and unconditional self-love.

“In today’s materialistic world there is a risk of people becoming slaves to money, as though they were simply cogs in a huge money-making machine. This does nothing for human dignity, freedom, and genuine well-being. Wealth should serve humanity, and not the other way around.

The practice of patience protects us from losing our composure. In doing that it enables us to exercise discernment, even in the heat of difficult situations. It gives us inner space. And within that space we gain a degree of self-control, which allows us to respond to situations in an appropriate and compassionate manner rather than being driven by our anger and irritation.

When each of us learns to appreciate the critical importance of ethics and makes inner values like compassion and patience an integral part of our basic outlook on life, the effects will be far-reaching.

Education and knowledge by themselves do not bring inner peace to individuals, families or the society in which they live. But education combined with warmheartedness, a sense of concern for the well-being of others, has much more positive results. If you have a great deal of knowledge, but you’re governed by negative emotions, then you tend to use your knowledge in negative ways. Therefore, while you are learning, don’t forget the importance of warmheartedness.
